Every year for 10-days straight and ending on Labor Day the NYS Fair is alive and well. Sure, it's original function was to bring a proper-level of recognition to those that are part of the agricultural economy of the State... but it's much more than that. Chevy Court's Stage and multiple other areas of the fair boast "FREE" concert performances (by national, regional and local performers)... additionally, the Iroquois Indian Village is buzzing with activity from each of the tribes of the "Six Nations" Seneca Indian Nation. The Strates shows Midway brings the usual carnival-style games and rides.. but the Center of Progress building showcases the talents of those producing a live-performance of sand sculpting (along with the general fare of items for sale or information about benefits to those residents of New York State.
